Electronic Giving
Why give?

To put it simply, it’s what God says to do. He tells us in the Bible that He wants us to give regularly, generously, and sacrificially out of all He gives us - all as part of our worship of Him.  Not because God needs what we have, but because we need to give it. What we do with what we have directs our heart. Giving to God reminds us that He has given us everything we have, and can be counted on to meet every need we will ever have. Giving something back to Him is an expression of gratitude and worship.

Why give online?
It keeps first things first

The Bible indicates giving is to be a "first" and not a last or leftover matter in my life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our intentions be compromised by the pressure of expenses and billing cycles.

It's consistent.

Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel or other schedule interruptions? Online giving provides a way to stay up to date with your budget.

It's convenient.

Through online giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.

Frequently Asked Questions . . .
How much do I have to give?

There is a $5.00 minimum per donation.

Is on-line giving safe?

Yes.  On-line giving uses the same network that is used for Direct Deposit and Electronic Bill Payment features you find at your place of employment or local bank.

What method of payment can I use?

You can use a checking, savings, or credit card account.

Is it really a good idea to give my tithes and offerings via a credit card?

The technology that permits online transactions via debit cards also permits giving via credit cards and makes no distinction between the two. We strongly urge you NOT to put your gift on a credit card UNLESS you are able to pay it off each month because we do not want God's people going into debt.

How often can I give on-line?

As often as you like.  You can set-up a one time donation or a recurring.

If I don’t write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?

All contributions will be clearly listed on your monthly checking, savings, and credit card statement.

How do I participate in the weekly offering if my gift is automatically deducted from my bank account?

You may continue to use your offering envelopes each week.  Simple put an “E” in the space for the amount to indicate that you are giving on-line.

What if I change banks or accounts, or want to change or stop my contribution?

You can change the amount of your gift or stop at any time by logging into your account and rescheduling or canceling your deduction.

Is there any charge to me from my bank to give on-line?

No. Electronic funds transfers carry no bank fees to you.

Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
