What's New . . .
Mission Fest
We are excited to celebrate our missionaries with a carnival style event on Sunday, October 12th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This event will include a Food Drive for Lifeline Christian Mission to help them with hurricane relief. Please bring canned meats/meals, vegetables, dried beans, pasta, rice, bottled water, infant formula, and cereal. Michael Dawson will be speaking during our morning services. We are in need of small groups, Sunday School classes, or families to host a booth at the Mission Fest. Each booth will highlight one of our missionaries with hands-on activities, games, crafts, and food. Please visit the Mission Point in the foyer for more details and to sign-up. Children's Christmas Musical
Children in grades 1-5 are invited to participate in our Christmas musical, "The Country Spelling Bee," which will be presented on Sunday, December 14th at 6:00 pm. Practices are held on Sundays at 5:00 pm in the Chapel. After practice, children are either escorted to their age appropriate activity or you can pick them up at

JOY Ministries Weiner Roast
Our Just Older Youth Ministry will have a weiner roast at the home of Ed & Pat Schlaegel on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:30 pm. Bring lawn chairs, roasting sticks, hot dogs and a side dish. If you need a ride, sign-up on the bulletin board and be at church by 6:00 pm. For additional information, contact Sharon Mullinex at 704-5682.
Singles Ministries Movie Night
Join our singles for a special Movie Night on Saturday, October 18th at 7:00 pm. For additional information contact Tina Campbell at

Connection Point Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to serve at the Connection Point on Sunday mornings to provide information to people regarding our North Terrace ministries. Training will be available. If you would be interested in helping or for additional information contact Linda Johnson at 454-7674 or Danny Harp at 453-2951.
We Need Your Help for Youth Programs
We currently have a Senior High Youth Program that cannot get off the ground because we need your help! "Fifth Quarter" and is an activity that will be held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 9:00 pmto 11:30 pm. We need 8-10 adults to spend time with teens as they play volleyball, basketball, video games, etc.! To help get this ministry off the ground, contact Brent Kirk at 453-2951.
New Church Set-Up Ministry
We are looking for a few good men, women, children, or small groups for an important project! If you are interested in helping during September, please contact this month's leader, John Roe at 453-6771 or 683-6771. We meet on Saturday afternoons and it only takes approximately one hour or less.
Prayer Chain
