It
is exciting to see our church continue to experience growth. It
is because of this growth that we have established a ministry
to assist people in connecting to Christ, to one another,
and to the ministry of North Terrace. Our desire
was to establish a means whereby growth will not just be
accommodated, but a means whereby our growth will be intentional
and nurtured in a structure which will provide communication,
opportunities for spiritual growth, and active involvement
in our ministries for all believers.
Allow us to introduce to you the NEXUS MINISTRY. The very word NEXUS means
to be connected or linked. Our prayer for the NEXUS Ministry is that it
will provide the logistical structure to walk individuals through a series of
levels which will connect them with the vital aspects of our growing church family…connections
that will serve them spiritually and emotionally and will give them the information
they need to be not only a part of our North Terrace family but an active part
of our North Terrace ministry.
While we are confident in the process that we have developed, we are very mindful
that we need enthusiastic individuals, families, and small groups to help us
implement such a ministry. It is the people who are involved, not the structure
we have outlined on paper, who make this ministry the success that we need it
to be. Our Greeters Ministry, Welcome Point Ministry, Starting Point Class,
and Connection Point are a part of this important ministry.
