| Outreach |
 |
Welcome
to a new community outreach program being
sponsored by North Terrace called
"Restart." This program will
benefit Muskingum Country residents who
have |
|
lost
their home through a sudden loss. Area
agencies such as the Red cross, Children's
Services, and Transitions will direct
these people to our Restart program,
wherein we will provide start-up houseware
essentials for their new home.
Our focus will be on new or gently used
kitchen/bath items and blankets. We will
make "Kitchen & Bath Kits" for
families of two to four people with the
items that we collect. Larger families
will receive more items according to their
family size.
You can help by checking you cupboards
and storage ares for any of the following
items: plates, bowls, cups, glasses, pots,
pans, pot holders, forks, knives, spoons,
skillets, mixing/serving bowls, dish cloths,
towels, measuring cups/spoons, baking dishes,
can openers, dishpans, washcloths, bath
towels, bar soap, individually wrapped
toilet paper, large laundry baskets/totes,
and blankets.
Please consider donating to this program.
Also, if you go to yard sales, flea markets,
or close-out sales, please remember this
program as you find bargains.
Donations can be placed in the tub in the
foyer marked, "Restart." Monetary
donations can be written to North Terrace
with "Restart" in the memo line.
Thank you in advance for any help that
you can give! |

North
Terrace
Community Association |
While
the North Terrace Community Association
is not a church, we are grounded on the
principles of the Churches of Christ
and Christian Churches.
NTCA strives
to become a vital partner with our community.
We believe in fulfilling our civic responsibility
by connecting with the community through
relationships, creating opportunities to
serve and taking our place alongside families,
other service agencies, and government
entities to contribute moral, social, cultural
and intellectual development opportunities
to citizens.
The purpose
is service and not evangelism. We hope
that while contributing to our community,
we will holistically help individuals and
families. |
|
| Crossroads |
| North
Terrace offers a support group for
people recovering from life's hurts,
hang-ups and habits. Those struggling
with mental illness, domestic violence,
abuse and life's failures are invited. When
sharing our experiences, strengths
and hopes, we become willing to accept
God's grace in solving difficulties.
The group meets each Tuesday evening
in the Chapel and the community is
invited. |

not only the opportunity to get some much
needed items, but also to take part in
a wide variety of events that take place

| North
Terrace serves as a food pantry location for
the Mid-Ohio Food Pantry system in our community,
as well as for our members in need of this
