She has been married to
her husband, Tim, for 24 years. She has
two children who are now both married
and about to have children of their own!
Her oldest son Brad and his wife Adriane,
will make her a grandmother sometime
around August 6th and her youngest son
Michael his wife Morgan, will follow
soon after with her second grandchild
sometime around September 25th.

- Ice . . . strange but
true . . . and the best ice in town is
at Sam's Club.
- Spending time with
her growing family.

complete with movie popcorn and a soda.

- People who use
rumors and gossip as a reason to judge

are her dreams . . . |
- To use every talent that
God has given her to its fullest potential.

would love to go back to school and get
her master's degree or even better, just
be a lifelong student.

of working full-time in the computer industry
or teaching, and the best of both worlds
would be to teach computers.

inspires her . . . |
- Watching other people
succeed gives her the courage to
try new things herself.
- Seeing people live out
their faith as they walk through the struggles
of everyday living.
- People who are sold out
to God . . . not just in what they say,
but most importantly in what they do.

places her talents have taken her . .

- Her diligence and perserverance
helped her graduate Summa Cum Laude from
Ohio University in June 2006 with a bachelor's
degree in Business Communication.
- During her brief stint
in the U.S. Army, she was selected as the
First Armored Division Soldier of the Year.
Because she was the first
female who had ever achieved the honor,
she had to go through the process twice!

| Where
she learned her stuff . . . |
She has always loved
computers and has learned most everything
she knows about them by simply using
them . . . a lot, talking with other
people and
reading. Finally finishing her bachelor's
degree helped to give her some credentials
for the knowledge she has gained through
years of experience.

| In
a previous life . . . |
Prior to working on
the church website, she was the
church secretary and treasurer for North
Terrace several years ago, a supervisor
at a printing company, a secretary in
a nuclear medicine clinic, a computer
trainer for nursing home administrators,
a membership coordinator at a fitness
facility, and an active duty soldier
serving as a leadership instructor at
one of the U.S. Army's primary leadership
development schools. Currently, in addition
to being the webmaster for North Terrace,
she is also the office manager for TS/architect,
the architectural firm owned by Todd
Slaboden.

is her specialty . . . |
She has always considered herself a
jack of all trades and master of none,
often knowing just enough about something
to get herself into trouble.

has this job grown her skills . . . |
The demands of the church's
website have given her the opportunity
to learn new skills as they are needed
to add new features to the site.

She designed, built
and maintains the church's website.

Having the opportunity to use some of
the talents that God has given her to
benefit the church and it's members.

golfing . . . neither of which she's
even begun to figure out!

To be a photographer.

| How
she came to North Terrace . . . |
Until the age of 12, she attended a
baptist church with her family. After
that time, her and her mother began attending
her mother's home church, First Christian
Church in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Sherry
and her family ended up in Zanesville
at the invitation of Uncle Sam. Her husband
served 22 years in the U.S. Army and
the reserve unit in McConnelsville was
his last active duty station. They loved
the area so much that when he retired
from the military, they stayed in Zanesville.
