to go back to school and get her
master's degree or even better, just
be a lifelong student.

the best of both worlds would be

Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University
in June 2006 with a bachelor's

as the First Armored Division Soldier
of the Year. Because she was the
first female who had ever achieved
the honor, she had to go through
the process twice!
|
| Where
she learned her stuff . . . |
She has always
loved computers and has learned
most everything she knows about
them by simply using them . . .
a lot, talking with other people
and reading. Finally finishing
her bachelor's degree helped to
give her some credentials for the
knowledge she has gained through
years of experience.

a jack of all trades and master
of none, often knowing just enough
about something to get herself

she came to North Terrace . . . |
Until the age of 12, she attended
a baptist church with her family.
After that time, her and her mother
began attending her mother's home
church, First Christian Church
in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Sherry
and her family ended up in Zanesville
at the invitation of Uncle Sam.
Her husband served 22 years in
the U.S. Army and the reserve unit
in McConnelsville was his last
active duty station. They loved
the area so much that when he retired
from the military, they stayed
in Zanesville.
