What are her greatest fears . . .
  • That someone in her family will die unexpectedly/prematurely
  • Being alone in the woods with a huge bear (or being ANYWHERE with a bear of ANY size whatsoever)
  • Flying
What are her goals for the future . . .
  • To soak up every day as a gift from God
  • To make quilts for her kids out of various clothing that they’ve outgrown 
  • To take Hannah Beth on her dream trip to Europe and to take her to a Jonas Brothers concert
  • To take Brady on a homeland trip back to Vietnam
  • To see as much of the United States/Hawaii as possible family
  • To update her children’s Lifebooks
  • To be involved in her future grandchildren’s lives as much as possible and to spoil them rotten!
In a previous life . . .

Tammy graduated from Ben Davis High School (Indianapolis, IN) in 1985. In 1989, she graduated from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) with her degree in Elementary Education/Kindergarten. After getting married in June 1990, she became a nanny (2 yrs.) and then transitioned into having her own daycare in her home (6 yrs.) after Hannah Beth was born. Upon relocating to Virginia, she was an adoption consultant with Worlds Together International Adoption agency (2 yrs.) as well as an administrative assistant at the Chester Christian Church. After moving to Zanesville, OH, she began working at North Terrace as the bulletin/newsletter editor and is currently the Communications/Publications Director.

  • Getting to see/talk with her husband several times throughout the day (what a great perk!)
  • Working/serving with such real, down-to-earth people who truly see their service to God as a blessing to their own lives
Her hobbies . . .
  • Cooking/baking
  • Collecting cookbooks and recipes
  • Relaxing at home with her family as much as possible (especially when it involves PJs, board games, “America’s Funniest Videos”, Star Wars movies, cozy blankets, and a couple of Lazy-boy recliners)
