| About
her family . . . |
Tammy met her
husband, Danny, in July 1988 through
the mail. I guess you could call
her a “mail order bride”.
(Actually, after Tammy’s
sister and brother-in-law spent
a week of summer church camp with
Danny, they encouraged him to write
her, which he -somewhat reluctantly-did.)
They met shortly thereafter, and
the rest is history! After a long
engagement and after Danny had
finally squeezed four years of
Bible college into five years (ha
ha), they married in June 1990.
Their first very tiny bundle of
joy (Hannah Beth) arrived in February
1992 and they were in love at first
sight. After many years of trying
for another child and mountains
of paperwork, they were handed
a beautiful, healthy, bouncing
baby boy (Brady Daniel Van Thanh)
on Danny’s birthday in April
1996 in Thai Binh, Vietnam, and
all was well with the world.

hysterically while watching “America’s
Funniest Videos”.

funniest man in the world next to
her husband.

enjoying time together doing the
simplest of things like yard work,
playing with their dog, etc.
- Hearing her young
niece’s and nephew’s
voices on the other end of the phone
- Days when she can
stay in her PJs all day
- When her family
loves what she cooks
|
| What
are her greatest fears . . . |
- That someone
in her family will die unexpectedly/prematurely
- Being alone in
the woods with a huge bear (or being
ANYWHERE with a bear of ANY size
whatsoever)
- Flying
|
| What
are her goals for the future .
. . |
- To soak up every
day as a gift from God
- To make quilts
for her kids out of various clothing
that they’ve outgrown
- To take Hannah
Beth on her dream trip to Europe
and to take her to a Jonas Brothers
concert
- To take Brady
on a homeland trip back to Vietnam
- To see as much
of the United States/Hawaii as possible
with Danny/family
- To update her
children’s Lifebooks

in her future grandchildren’s
