When
a member in our church loses an immediate family member,
they are faced with many decisions which can create much
anxiety on top of the stress that normally accompanies
these times. The Tender Loving Care Ministry desires to
lighten their burden by providing a dinner for family and
friends so that they can concentrate on supporting one
another during their difficult time.
We are always looking for volunteers to either prepare a
dish, a complete meal, or to donate money toward the purchase
of food for the funeral meal. We also welcome kitchen workers
to help get the meal ready and with clean-up.
Due to our church's growth in the past two years, it is hard
to know about all the needs that exist in our congregation
and we are asking for your help in this area also. If you
know someone in need of a funeral meal, please contact the
church office or one of our ministers at 453-2951. Anyone
