Student
Impact

Fulfilling God's mission for the church involves Biblically based teaching, training and activities that help every person understand their unique role in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship and ministry to others within the church, the community and the world. "Student Impact" is a Bible study class that provides a place to belong and a place to become.

Belonging involves connecting with other believers to find common interests, common backgrounds and common struggles.

Becoming is the process of learning how God wants to teach you, guide you, and use you for His glory.

It is our desire that Sunday morning Student Impact provides you with lifelong friendships, opportunities for encouragement, spiritual growth and involvement. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am at "The Beach" for Student Impact.

REFUGE is a time for worship in which you will often experience various ways to worship and connect with God. The informal and relaxed atmosphere is a great place to connect with friends, worship God, and be challenged by God's truth. Refuge is for those seeking to go deeper in their faith and for those looking for something more. After a time of worship, students go into grade based D-groups for an in-depth study of God's word and fun. Refuge begins with a time of worship with the Kardia Band in the Family Life Center. We invite all high school students to be part of Refuge and D-groups! Joining a D-group is easy!! Fill out a D-group form located at the Connection point and return it to Brent when completed. Join us on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm for Refuge.

Turning Point -- Life Groups. It is our desire that each student be connected with a small group of friends along with adult leaders, to learn, talk, pray and grow in faith together. Life Groups are designed by student's school grade to allow for longevity and relationship building of each Life Group. Many of our off-site activities such as: movies, parties, service projects, eating out and more will happen through our Life Groups. Sign-up for a Life Group at the Connection Point and join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.

Schedule

The gospel is the most important thing we can know. It is what Paul preached “as of first importance” in 1 Corinthians 15. It gives us hope in that God took action while we were dead in our trespasses and sins. We were helpless, hopeless and separated from God, but God did not leave us there. In love He has moved. The gospel is the story about God coming near through Jesus Christ. It is because of this action—the life of Jesus—that we can enter God’s presence, draw near to Him, and encourage others to do the same. God is the first to MOVE…and because He has, we can.

Starting this spring, over 30,000 students on 5 different continents will follow His lead and MOVE. You’re invited to one of over 24 five-day events being held all over the nation. MOVE is even held world wide to call the church to MOVE and tens of thousands of high school students to live for the sake of the gospel. Our goal is not just for you and your students to attend an event. Our goal is to be a part of God raising up 250,000 students to live for the sake of the gospel. We want students to reach out in their community for the sake of the gospel, to choose where they will work and what they do for the sake of the gospel. We want students to look NOW for opportunities to serve locally and globally for the sake of the gospel. Our hope is that students will look at their homes, high schools, and even where they go to college with the gospel in mind.

God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live and MOVE and have our being’ (Acts 17:27-38).

The 5th Quarter takes place on the 1st and 3rd Fridays from September through May from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm. It is a great time to simply hang-out after a game or meet up with friends for a time of volleyball, basketball, pizza, crazy games, use of "The Beach" game room and more!! The cost is $5 per person to cover drinks and pizza and all the fun takes place in the Family Life Center and The Beach.
