| Prayer Point |
| We are excited to announce that a prayer forum is now available on our website. A prayer forum is a place where you can post a prayer rquest in the form of a "thread" that is viewable to everyone in the community. In this case, the community is everyone who visits our Prayer Point. You will also be able to view other prayer reuests, respond to those requests, and view reponses that may be made to your request. You are invited to community your genuine and sincere prayer needs, and respond to other's posts. You can find the Prayer Point by following the link at the upper right side of this page or under the "Resources" menu on the left. Solicitations, other than prayer, are not allowed and this forum will be monitored daily for content. For additional information, email webmaster@ntcoc.org. |
| Annual Church Picnic |
| Mark your calendars now, invite your friends and family, and plan to attend our annual Church Picnic on August 29th at 4:00 pm. Please bring two large covered dishes (plenty to share with everyone) and your lawn chairs. Drinks, hot dogs, buns, pltes, utensils, and condiments will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your outdoor games to share! The picnic will take place rain or shine. For additional information, contact the church office at 453-2951. |
| Free Stuff Give-Away Coming August 7th |
| Gather up your donations and bring them to the trailer at the back of the church building for this community service project! We need volunteers to help organize tables during the week of August 2nd-6th and to work the event on August 7th. Sign-up at the Connection Point or contact the church office. | New Ministries Being Considered |
| If anyone has experience or would like to be a part of the planning stages of a ministry for children with special needs, please contact Danny Harp at 453-2951. We would eventually like to offer developmentally appropriate Sunday School and possible ministry programs for these children. |
| Connection Cafe |
| Would you like to serve God by serving others? If so, the Connection Cafe needs you! We need a few individuals who are willing to serve one Sunday per month for one year from 7:00 amuntil approximately 11:30 am with time to enjoy the 8:30 am worship service. If you would like to help with this ministry, please contact Chuck or Cindy Morehead at 343-0514. |
| School Supplies Drive |
| We are collecting large book bags and school supplies for students in need in grade 1-12 so that they can start school off in the fall on a positive note. You are invited to place donations (any and all type of supplies) into the large tub in the foyer. If you prefer to donate financially, please write "school supplies" on the memo line of your check and turn it into the office or in the offering plate. Our goal this year is to provide well-fuilled book bags for 50 students in need within North Terrace and our community. If you are in need of assistance with our child's school supplies for the fall, please contact Tammy Harp at 453-2951 or tammy@ntcoc.org. |
| College Scholarships |
| The North Terrace Church of Christ Scholarship Foundation provides money for full-time students who are attending Christian colleges. Applications are available in the church office and must be completed and returned to the office by August 16th for this school year. | WINGS Dinner |
