help mowing/trimming the church lawn. This would
be a commitment of no more than once a month

| Our “Adventures on Promise
Island” VBS is just around the corner! Sign
your child up now by clicking on the link at the left. VBS
will take place June 18th-22nd (6:00-9:00 p.m.).
VBS is for 4 yr. olds (as of July 31, 2012)
through current 5th graders. Children signed up
before May 27th will receive a free VBS t-shirt
(all other children will receive a VBS decal).

| Children's Check-In Systeym |
On June 3rd we are
going to start using a new electronic check-in/out system
for all children in the Children’s Ministry. There will
be an information meeting in the Fireside Room May
21st at 6:00 p.m., and all parents and volunteers are
encouraged to attend. *Important: Before June 3rd all
families will need to have their information in the
system. Fill out a card and turn it in to the office.*

| Vacation Bible School Decorations |
We need
your help! We are looking for props (stuffed animals
(birds, fish, monkeys) fake plants, fake fruit
(including coconuts), a hammock, Adirondack
chairs), to decorate our building for VBS. If you
can loan us items please label them with your
name and turn them in to the office. If it is a large
item please call Jeremy before dropping it off.

| Riverwood Mission Trip |
You are invited to participate on this mission trip from August 13th-17th to
Riverwood Christian Home for mentally disabled people near Knoxville, TN. We will be cleaning/winterizing and taking the residents on a day trip. We would like to have 10-15 participants

| Bible Bowl Study-A-Thon |
Bible Bowl Study-A-Thon: A Study-A-Thon is an intense day of study of every topic covered this competition year.
The BB players will be soliciting donations from sponsors who will sponsor one or more players for a certain amount
per hour or a flat rate for the day on Saturday, May 19th from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Players should be seeking sponsors
